Hybrid injection moulding is the permanent bonding of plastics with metals. This often involves overmoulded metal inserts as an alternative to subsequent bonding.
Well-known examples of this are hand tools, such as screwdrivers. But at Beoplast we produce, among other things, high-quality components for the automotive industry, in which zinc castings are applied with a high-tech plastic seal.
Vertical injection moulding machines are equipped with a turntable that allows a new insert to be placed while the machine is still in its cycle.
This placement of a new insert can be done manually, but for large series we have robots that can do it automatically.
Zero-emission, carbon neutral manufacturing and bioplastics contribute to a better future for our planet. Companies that want to make their supply chain more sustainable will find an experienced partner in De Beer Beoplast.
