De Beer Beoplast produces emission-free and completely CO²-neutral and is a pioneer in the sustainable production of plastic injection moulded parts. As much electricity as possible is self-generated, heat is reused and the means of transport (including all company cars) are electric.
Beoplast is the only certified manufacturing company in Germany that has reduced its CO² equivalent to 0 without purchasing emission certificates.
Plastics are traditionally made from petroleum and thus from fossil raw materials and are therefore ” suspicious” from the point of view of sustainability. But plastics are not bad by definition. Plastics require relatively little energy to process, are easily recyclable and have a very long lifespan. Comparative studies show that the carbon footprint of plastics is often even lower than that of alternative materials such as cardboard, glass or aluminium.
